Data deletion

This page is the public deletion instruction set for 77os. For Meta App Review, it is the Data Deletion Instructions URL; a signed_request callback may be added later. Platform reviewers and connected account holders can follow it without an OS login. Requests are completed within 30 days.

Effective 15 September 2026

01Who can request deletion

We honor deletion requests from:

  • The Pinterest, TikTok, X, Facebook, or Instagram account holder who authorized 77os
  • An operator or tenant administrator of 77 Bark Ave OS (or a stamped OS tenant) for that tenant’s connection
  • An authorized agent, if we can verify both the agent and the person they represent

If you only want to stop new publishing, revoke the app on the platform immediately, then write us so we delete our stored copy.

02Account holder path

If you tapped “Authorize” on a 77os consent screen:

  1. Revoke 77os (or “77systems”) in the platform’s connected-apps settings. That stops new API calls even before we process mail.
  2. Email privacy@77systems.ai and support@77systems.ai with the subject 77os data deletion.
  3. Include the platform, your handle or account id, the email you used if any, and a statement that you want the connection and related 77os records deleted.
  4. Do not send access tokens or passwords. We will not ask for them.

03Operator path

If you run the OS tenant:

  1. Disconnect the social account inside 77 Bark Ave OS (or the stamped tenant) if that control is available. That should revoke or discard the connector token.
  2. Email support@77systems.ai and copy privacy@77systems.ai with the tenant name, platforms to delete, and whether the request is for one account or the whole tenant.
  3. Confirm whether evidence records should be removed as well, or only the live tokens. If you do not specify, we delete tokens and connection metadata, and we delete publishing payloads that are not required to show a completed deletion.

04Revoke on the platform

Use the platform’s own settings in addition to emailing us:

  • Pinterest — account settings → security or connected apps → revoke 77os
  • TikTok — settings → security / manage app permissions → revoke 77os
  • X — settings → security and account access → apps and sessions → revoke 77os
  • Facebook — Settings → Apps and Websites → remove 77os / 77systems (menu labels may drift)
  • Instagram — Settings → Apps and websites / Permissions → remove 77os / 77systems, or revoke via the linked Facebook account (menu labels may drift)

Menu labels change. If you cannot find the control, say so in your email and we will point you to the current path.

05What is deleted

When a deletion request is completed we delete:

  • Access tokens and refresh tokens for that connection
  • Stored OAuth grants, scope lists, and connection status rows
  • Social account identifiers we kept to label the connection (platform user id, handle), unless a minimal deletion stub is required
  • Publishing payloads and media references held by 77os for that account, except where a Platform or legal hold requires a short additional retention
  • OS-side connector copies we control for that account, once the operator path is included or the account holder’s request is verified

Deleting 77os data does not delete posts that already went live on Pinterest, TikTok, X, Facebook, or Instagram. You remove those in the platform’s own product if you want them gone.

06What may be retained

  • Deletion stub — date, platform, and that a request was completed, so we can show we honored it
  • Security logs — typically up to 90 days, with tokens redacted, for intrusion investigation
  • Support correspondence — the request email and our reply, usually up to 24 months
  • Legal holds — only if we are required to keep a record by law or a binding process

We do not keep tokens “just in case” after a completed deletion.

07Timeline

  • Acknowledgement — we aim to confirm receipt within two Pacific Time business days
  • Completion — within 30 days of a verified request, usually sooner for a single connection
  • Platform-required takedowns — if a Platform requires stored content to be updated or removed on a shorter clock (for example X’s requirement to honor certain removals as soon as reasonably possible or within 24 hours of a qualifying request), we follow that clock for the stored copy

08Verification

We will only delete a connection we can reasonably tie to the requester. That may mean asking you to confirm a handle, send the mail from an address already on the tenant, or perform a challenge we describe in reply. We will not ask you to forward live access tokens.

If we cannot verify, we will say so and explain what would allow us to proceed, rather than silently ignoring the request.
