Best AI SDR tools
An AI SDR tool automates sales development: research, outreach, replies, and meetings. This page compares six products on the job they publish, and on who is allowed to send. 77os is not one of them. It is a business operating system with Human Approve before a live action.

How this comparison was made
List pages for “AI SDR tools” usually crown a winner. This one does not. Each note below comes from that company’s own public pages, checked on 21 September 2026. We did not buy every seat, and we are not repeating vendor performance numbers as if we measured them.
Prices are left out on purpose. They move, and a stale price is worse than none. Confirm the current plan on the vendor’s site.
The question that sorts the category is the send model. Some tools are built to send. Some can hold a message for a person. Some are a database or a workspace with AI inside them.
Side by side
| Tool | Built for | How a send happens |
|---|---|---|
| 11x Alice | Autonomous outbound. A digital worker for top-of-funnel pipeline. | You set the inputs. Alice decides who to contact and what to say, then runs the sequence. Some replies are escalated to a person. |
| Artisan Ava | An autonomous AI BDR for the full outbound motion. | Ava finds and enriches leads, writes and sends outreach, handles replies, and books meetings. Artisan’s product page also describes human-in-the-loop controls. |
| AiSDR | Researched outreach aimed at meetings, over email, phone, and LinkedIn. | The agent researches, writes, runs sequences, handles replies, and books. AiSDR says it is a poor fit if you want AI to replace human judgment entirely. It does not describe an Approve step on every send. |
| Reply.io Jason | An AI SDR on a multichannel sales engagement platform. | Co-pilot mode holds a message for review before it sends. Autopilot mode runs outreach end to end. Reply handling can draft for approval or send on its own. |
| Regie.ai | An agentic sales workspace beside the people who sell. | Regie prepares sourcing, ranking, messaging, call prep, and follow-ups so sellers spend time in conversations. It is an assistant and a workspace, not an unattended digital worker. |
| Apollo.io | A contact database plus sequencing, dialer, enrichment, and AI assistance. | AI sits inside campaigns and workflows. Reps still work the platform. Apollo is a sales platform with AI, not only an autonomous SDR. |
77os is omitted from this table because it is not an AI SDR. The difference is in the next sections.
Each tool, on its own terms
11x Alice (opens in a new tab)
Autonomous outbound. A digital worker for top-of-funnel pipeline.
You set the inputs. Alice decides who to contact and what to say, then runs the sequence. Some replies are escalated to a person.
Stronger when you want continuous prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and SMS, and you accept that the agent sends.
Artisan Ava (opens in a new tab)
An autonomous AI BDR for the full outbound motion.
Ava finds and enriches leads, writes and sends outreach, handles replies, and books meetings. Artisan’s product page also describes human-in-the-loop controls.
Stronger when you want one AI BDR from discovery through scheduling, and you will check those controls before you rely on them.
AiSDR (opens in a new tab)
Researched outreach aimed at meetings, over email, phone, and LinkedIn.
The agent researches, writes, runs sequences, handles replies, and books. AiSDR says it is a poor fit if you want AI to replace human judgment entirely. It does not describe an Approve step on every send.
Stronger when the job is signal-based outbound and qualified meetings, with a person setting strategy.
Reply.io Jason (opens in a new tab)
An AI SDR on a multichannel sales engagement platform.
Co-pilot mode holds a message for review before it sends. Autopilot mode runs outreach end to end. Reply handling can draft for approval or send on its own.
Stronger when you want a review queue and an unattended mode in the same SDR.
Regie.ai (opens in a new tab)
An agentic sales workspace beside the people who sell.
Regie prepares sourcing, ranking, messaging, call prep, and follow-ups so sellers spend time in conversations. It is an assistant and a workspace, not an unattended digital worker.
Stronger when reps stay in the motion and AI takes the preparation.
Apollo.io (opens in a new tab)
A contact database plus sequencing, dialer, enrichment, and AI assistance.
AI sits inside campaigns and workflows. Reps still work the platform. Apollo is a sales platform with AI, not only an autonomous SDR.
Stronger when you need the data and the sequencer together, and people still run the queue.
Where 77os fits, and where it does not
77os is a business operating system from 77systems. AI prepares the work. A person Approves before anything sends, spends, or publishes. Autopilot is Off by default, and it can be turned on per desk or per loop as trust builds.
That is a different product from an AI SDR. If the requirement is an optional review queue on outbound only, Reply.io Jason already publishes a Co-pilot mode, and Artisan describes human-in-the-loop controls. 77os is the fit when the gate is the default, and when spend and publish sit under the same rule as send.
Where supported, destination verification shows whether approved work landed as intended, and CRM interaction records keep an operating evidence record. Those are operating checks. They are not a claim that 77os books more meetings than an AI SDR.
77os is the wrong tool when you want an autonomous SDR, a built-in B2B contact database, or outbound volume as the whole job. It is also early: it runs in production at 77 Bark Ave, which shares a founder with 77systems. One business is the proof we have.
The category argument, without the list, is on 77os vs AI SDR tools. The outreach loop itself is sales outreach with Human Approve.
How to choose
- You want a digital worker running outbound: read 11x Alice, Artisan Ava, and AiSDR, and confirm who is allowed to send.
- You want a review mode and an unattended mode in the same SDR: Reply.io Jason publishes both.
- Sellers should stay in the conversation: Regie.ai, or Apollo.io if the contact database is part of the job.
- Send, spend, and publish should stop for a person, with outreach as one loop: 77os. The pattern is covered in human-in-the-loop automation.
